WHO : Much of the focus of the last opportunity that I brought up, regarding the redevelopment of traditional malls, is focused on younger generations. Generations of Millennials who do much of their current shopping online and not at traditional retailers. At first thought, I had hypothesizes, people who fall out of the boundary would be senior citizens and on the business side, the people who fall outside of the boundary would be solely commence businesses that have absolutely no retail presence. However, when conducting interviews, I had found that senior citizens would also appear to be inside the boundary. These leaving my conclusion on people outside of the boundary as solely online retailers and people who just need items on demand. WHAT : The need identified is, the need to visit a real location, whether it be for social aspects, or lifestyle aspects. The need of going somewhere to socialize and to serve as something to do can differ from the need of wanting...
Solving The Problem

One problem I brought up earlier was the problem of Cold callers constantly calling relentlessly, even after telling them you would like to be placed on the DO NOT CALL list. While going throughout your day this can become a bit annoying and a hassle. Although there are measures to take against this as registering on the national do not call list, it still does not seem to fix the problem. A product and service that would serve to protect this is a phone call interceptor. The service would provide to customers that the calls do not come through unless it is non robotic and not from landlines of calling centers. The service would be provided to consumers on a monthly payment to prevent any cold calls from coming through their personal or work phones. When going over this service with colleagues many had agreed that they would pay for such a thing. The bases of the service would be an app that is downloaded on your phone that automatically detects callers th...

The Development of more Lifestyle Shopping Centers where current "Dead" Traditional malls stand. The Who: United States Online Shoppers and Consumers The what: The retail industry in the United States is slowly declining. Amazon and online retailers are slowly taking a larger and larger market share. The Why: As online retailers grow people find less of a reason to go to traditional shopping malls. As the large anchors leave, it creates a “dead mall.” There are many people in the United States that are in areas where their malls and common shopping areas are closing due to online retailers. Many people in these areas are affected and share the need of areas needed for development. Not all areas are affected, some areas are not currently experiencing as many closures. Although as malls close, people are seeing less areas of common leisure in their areas. In middle class areas retailers that heavily make up the malls such as boutiques, larg...

I believe that there is an opportunity that lies within the coffee market. While doing the Bug List Exercise one one thing that particularly bugged me was my hot coffee drink getting cold quickly once being exposed to inside air condition over time. I believe that there is an opportunity to have warm mugs or cups to keep the coffee at an optimal drinking temperature. When ordering a hot drink whether it be coffee or tea, it is particularly enjoyed better when it is warm not cold. An NCA Survey conducted in 2012 found that 62 percent of Americans 18 or older drink coffee on a regular basis. This means that about 1 in 2 Americans face this issue on a daily bases. The need to having a warm coffee drink existing since the creation of coffee thousands of years ago. Today many people are reheating their coffee if they have access to a microwave, if not just facing a Luke warm to cold coffee drink. At this point I would conclude that I am 90% sure that the opportunity t...

I would like to consider myself as a Serial entrepreneur. I had first started my entrepreneurship at a young age of 12 years old. At just 12 I had started to buy and sell trading cards and pokemon in school to friends, although the school had appreciated the hustle, this small business was shut down very quickly by the school as it was not allowed. Despite the set back I had never let my spirit down. At 16 years old, a friend and I had created an Instagram account amassing over 1 Million followers. Once having this large network, I had gone into the social media marketing business and started to sell promotions to businesses. Throughout the course of two years I had taken our social media account to over 3 million followers and over 500 clients paying us thousands of dollars. At 18 years Old, I decided to sell the network and business to work on a new project, BizChargers. I had come up with an idea for having portable cell phone chargers designed for Restaurants and Hotels ...
