23A – Your Venture’s Unfair Advantage


  1. Resources of experienced people in the industry - Having access with people to rich out to for advice when creating the project, who have been within the industry for 25+ years. 
  2. Financial Capital - Right tools to utilize leverage for the project that others will find harder to obtain rather than someone who has connections within portage banks
  3. Personal knowledge within the industry being the qualified age and primarily target customer - having the right group of people to reach out to for help with high experience within the industry is next to impossible to replicate the connections and knowledge. 
  4. Experience within the industry and access to highly experienced people within the industry - Once again highly impossible to replicate the knowledge from the circle of experienced people within the industry 
  5. Socially within a group of people to help finance the project. - connections to financiers and banks that are willing to lend out money for a project of this sort
  6. Architectural social capital, having connections within architecture groups to help design the project - Knowing and having architectural groups on call to help with design and creation of the structures. 
  7. Real Estate Agent group connection to help attract and grow tenants - Connection to broad group of a few dozen experienced in real estate leasing to tenants within the area. 
  8. My personal design and creation of brand experience will help to create a brand within the project rather than just a structure - With the creation of over 5 brands in the past 3 years I am personally well versed with creating brands. 
  9. Access to see inside of other projects that are similar to fix what is “Wrong” and create a better version of them. 
  10. Advertising and Marketing background and connection to Advertising and Marketing Firms to help market the project.

  1. Hi Michael, great job on providing your list of 10 resources. I am curious to know what you believe may be your best resource and why? How is is valuable, rare, inimitable and non-substitutional? I personally believe your strongest resource is your access to people who have been in this industry for more than 25 years. This is because they provide you with information that can be life changing and cannot be gained unless spending 25 plus years in the business yourself!
